Iuliano Reports “Remarkable Year” for College Fundraising

By Ella Prieto, Editor-in-Chief

On Thursday, Gettysburg College President Bob Iuliano reflected on the support shown for students in a community-wide email.

“Whether through the efforts of more than 400 dedicated volunteers, classroom visits, one-on-one mentorship, or the creation of pathways to internships and dynamic careers, our community’s commitment to the College’s student-centered approach was on vivid display,” commented Iuliano.

He explained that the commitment continued in fundraising efforts, with more than 9,300 Gettysburgians contributing through generous philanthropic support. This generated $25.1 million in new gifts and commitments during the 2024-25 fund year, including $7.7 million designated for the College’s endowment, which will support scholarships, professorships and experiential learning opportunities. Iuliano also noted that the Gettysburg Fund reached $4 million for the 6th consecutive year, while the Orange & Blue Club totaled a record $1.15 million. The email also thanked the College Advancement team and many across the Gettysburg College community who helped create a culture of philanthropy.

“As we set our sights on yet another ambitious fundraising year—the final year of the leadership phase of our comprehensive campaign—I look forward to continuing to partner with you to bring our shared vision for the future to fruition,” concluded Iuliano.
