    • Campus engagement is underway.
  • Questions & Answers
    • Will the password-protected intranet be off-putting to prospective students?
      • The redesign of the site should make it easier for prospective students to engage.
    • How often do you plan to make updates to the website to avoid confusion among students?
      • The site being planned now should have greater longevity than the current site, to ensure there is minimal disruption.
    • Does the website redesign include the student center, which is very outdated?
      • Departments are being encouraged to update their sites frequently.
      • When searching on the website, the results are clogged up by irrelevant results.
      • That is being addressed on the website redesign.
    • What is the purpose of the intranet, given the number of tools needed?
      • The website will serve as a directory of tools, but will not synthesize them.
    • Is the coding for the new website being done in-house?
      • The College is working with an external contractor with experience in Higher Education websites.
    • Have you looked at other colleges’ websites and found any that are especially impressive?
      • Stanford University has a very impressive website.
    • Will this overhaul of the website lead to the overhaul of other difficult sites, such as CNAV?
      • IT oversees CNAV, but that is a potential in the future.
    • Will the fonts on the website be changed?
      • Yes.
    • Can an AI chatbot be included in the website?
      • That has been considered. There is a chatbot tool for any number of needs, or a site search chatbot.
