G-Harmony Bachelorette of the Week: Ashley Logan

Interview by AnnaMarie Houlisal

Each week we will have an interview with a new cutie on the prowl! This week she’s an animal lover, she has an impressive British accent, she’s spontaneous, she’s Ashley Logan!

Nickname: Awkwardly enough…Smash

Class Year: 2013

Major/Minor: Political Science/Writing

What is your biggest fear and how did you overcome it?

My biggest fear is change, and I really haven’t been able to conquer that one, if I had I probably wouldn’t be FREAKING OUT that I graduate in two months!

Are you a sweatpants, leggings, jeans or dress up type of girl? Why?

I’m going to go with all of the above.  No leggings though.  Ever.  Terrible idea.  Quite possibly the worst invention ever?  Or maybe that’s crocks…

What extracurricular activities do you do for fun?

I’m on the equestrian team and I really do love spending time at the barn. I don’t even have to be riding, I just like spending time with the animals.  There are always a million dogs and cats and other crazy critters running around, most recently there are two pigmy goats that have stolen my heart.

What is the best date you could go on?

Out of the ordinary, but then again something not too insane.  I’m not about to go sky diving.

Describe your ideal man.

Elton John.  But actually though…He must have a sense of humor, if he can’t laugh about anything and everything, hit the road.  He also has to love Billy Joel because that’s my man.

If you could only have one cocktail for the rest of your life, what would it be? What does it say about your personality?

That would be a Pimms Cup.  It consists of Pimms No. 1, ginger ale, a sugar cube and sometimes a granny smith apple slice.  I got hooked when I was in England.  It’s a really rare drink in the States and when I order one, I generally get this look of confusion from the bar tender. but that could be because of my awesome British accent.

What is one thing no one knows about you?

Someday I would really like to open an animal rescue sanctuary.  There are over 8 million animals euthanized in the US each year because they don’t have homes.  I recently adopted a rescue dog and she’s the most grateful, happy-go-lucky thing in the world.  She saw snow for the first time this winter and she charged through it for hours, I couldn’t get her to come inside.  It’s the little things that make you feel like you’ve made a difference.

Ashley was asked to complete the following sentences…

It’s raining men… AND I FORGOT MY UMBRELLA!?

When I graduate I will… Hopefully find a job!

WORD ASSOCIATION: Ashley received a series of words and was told to quickly respond with the first word that came to her mind upon hearing each word.

Why are you Gettysburg Great?

I absolutely am not…this is the worst question ever, hahahahahaha.
