    • Register online and pick up supplies from the Office of Multicultural Engagement to make your own Mardi Gras mask
  •  X-Sig Seminar by Paul Turner: How and Why Viruses Evolve
    • Held virtually from 5:00 to 6:00 PM
    • Paul Turner, PhD and Rachel Carson, Professor of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at Yale University discuss the importance of virus evolution in the context of the current pandemic

 

Wednesday, Feb 17

  • Student Digital Humanities Presentations
    • Held virtually from 12:00 to 1:00 PM
    • Students will share their experiences working in the Digital Humanities and discuss their work on academic, public-facing, digital projects.
  • Spring Activities Fair
    • Held virtually from 4:00 to 6:00 PM
    • Meet representatives from the different clubs, organizations, and offices on campus and learn about ways to get connected
  • Virtual CAFE
    • Held virtually from 4:30 to 6:15 PM
    • This Celebration of Academic First-Year Engagement Symposium provides faculty-nominated first-year students with the opportunity to showcase their best work from their respective seminars

 

Thursday, Feb. 18

  • Black Greek Orgs Alumni Panel
    • Held virtually from 7:30 to 8:30 PM
    • The Office of Multicultural Engagement highlights Black Greek Letter Organizations for Black History Month and engages students in dialogue with alumni about Black Greek Life

Friday, Feb. 19

  • African American Women’s Sexual Attitudes
    • Held virtually from 7:00 to 8:00 PM
    • Investigating the Sexual Development and Attitudes of African American Women with the Office of Multicultural Engagement
  • Trivia Night
    • Held virtually from 8:15 to 9:45 PM
    • Join other Gettysburg students and students from other campuses for a fun evening of trivia! The trivia winner will get a prize!

Saturday, Feb. 20

  • Moonlight Screening
    • Held in-person in the College Union Ballroom from 8:00 to 10:00 PM
    • Watch the Oscar-winning film Moonlight. Snacks and blankets will be provided!
