Jonathan Torop.

  • Being…Black, Jewish & Queer: Interactive Discussion with David Fair

Friday, Oct. 30:

  • Decorate Your Own Halloween Mask
    • Held in-person in CUB 260 for the residential cohort from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. 
    • Hosted by the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life.
  • CAB’s Tricks and Treats
    • Held virtually from 7:30 to 9:00 P.M.
    • Campus Activities Board hosts magician Joseph Tran for a Halloween edition of his virtual show.
  • She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms
    • Play recorded entirely on Zoom available for streaming beginning 7:30 to 10:00 P.M.
    • Hosted by the Theatre Arts Department
  • Ghosts of Gettysburg College Walk
    • Held 8:00 to 9:00 P.M. for the residential cohort starting at the College Union Building Bullethole Patio.
    • Join Residential and First-Year Programs for a tour of the college’s “spooks and haunts.”
  • Scary Movie Night: The Conjuring
    • Held for the residential cohort in the College Union Ballroom from 9:00 to 11:00 P.M.

Katie Oglesby ‘23 serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the Gettysburgian. She has previously served as Magazine Editor, News Editor, Assistant News Editor, and Staff Writer. She is an English with a writing concentration and political science major, hailing from San Diego, California, but now living in rural North Carolina. On campus, Katie works at the CUB information desk, is an Eisenhower Institute Fielding Fellow, and serves as co-service vice president for the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. She spent a semester abroad in Bath, England studying British literature and politics, and spent this past summer interning with the Winston-Salem Journal in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She can usually be found perusing books in the Musselman Library browsing room.
