Student Senate Adopts S/U Grading Opinion, Tables Inclusion Officer Amendment

Student Senate made quick work of its agenda during the Monday, Sep. 28 meeting.

Parliamentarian Lauren Browning ‘22 presented an updated version of the Inclusion Officer amendment. The amendment received some changes during the most recent Policy committee meeting. After minimal discussion, the amendment was tabled to be voted on during the next meeting.

Opinions Committee chair Giacomo Coppola ‘22 presented an opinion that favored the Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grading option for this semester. The opinion cited the decision from Dickinson College to do the same. The opinion was quickly adopted.

Senate will reconvene on Monday, Oct. 5.
