Interested in saving money by buying a used textbook from another student?

Want to make some money back by reselling your used textbook to a peer?

The Scholarly Communications Department of Musselman Library is sponsoring an informal textbook-swap for students. According to our student textbook survey, many students are frustrated with the amount they get when they try to resell their textbooks, while others wish they could more easily ask peers in their major if they’d be willing to sell them their books.

So, we’ve decided to help them! We have provided a bulletin board on the library Main Level where students can post the book they are selling/interested in, the asking price, and their contact information. We are hoping this eases the pressure in approaching other students about purchasing or borrowing their books. Students can also resell their books for more than they would get elsewhere while still providing a book to a classmate for cheaper than they would otherwise buy it.

The board will be by the printers on the Main Level of the library through finals week.
