“I’m from Danville, Pennsylvania. It’s a pretty small town. The biggest thing I miss about being home is just knowing everyone. You run to the grocery store and run into three people that you know, stuff like that. It’s nice, that kind of small town feel. I really like that. If I could go anywhere in the world, though, I’d want to go to Australia. It’s the complete opposite side of the world. I want to study abroad there. That’s the first place I’d go. They speak English! Australia’s environment in general just seems nice.”

Humans of Gettysburg is a partnership between The Gettysburgian and contributing photojournalist Alex Bobeczko ’21, who manages the Instagram page @humansofgettysburgcollege. Follow that page for more posts and stories.

On campus, he is a member and captain of the men's club soccer team. He wanted to setup this account (@humansofgettysburgcollege) because he has always had a love for photography and wanted to get more involved on campus.
