“I’d say my inclusiveness is my strongest personal quality. I really try to make everyone feel welcome, feel comfortable. I was never the cool or the popular kid in high school, but I was well liked because I was welcoming. I felt like it was my job as daughter of the head of my school. I had to always put my best foot forward and make people feel like they wanted to be there. Sometimes I put a lot of pressure on myself to do that. That’s definitely my strongest quality.”

Humans of Gettysburg is a partnership between The Gettysburgian and contributing photojournalist Alex Bobeczko ’21, who manages the Instagram page @humansofgettysburgcollege. Follow that page for more posts and stories.

On campus, he is a member and captain of the men's club soccer team. He wanted to setup this account (@humansofgettysburgcollege) because he has always had a love for photography and wanted to get more involved on campus.
