“I’m from Mt. Airy, Maryland. It’s a rural community, surrounded by farms. The thing I miss the most is honestly the scenery. Driving to school every day, all I could see was cornfields for miles. I know it sounds hick-y to say but it was such a nice drive. That’s one of the reasons I chose this college, the drive up past all the orchards. And the sunrises.” – Nick Peterson ’21

Humans of Gettysburg is a partnership between The Gettysburgian and contributing photojournalist Alex Bobeczko ’21, who manages the Instagram page @humansofgettysburgcollege. Follow that page for more posts and stories.
