It’s the time of the semester when due dates are starting to become overwhelming. Whether you need a head start on research for an upcoming project or help with research for something you are working on right now, the Research Help Desk can provide assistance.

From research inquiries to citation questions, you can visit the Research Help Desk for immediate assistance from a librarian or a Peer Research Mentor. The Research Help Desk hours are:

Monday – Thursday: 9:00am–5:00pm and 6:00pm–10:00pm

Friday: 9:00am–3:00pm

Sunday: 6:00pm–10:00pm

For more personalized research help, set up a one-on-one Research Appointment with a librarian. Fill out the online request form at http://www.gettysburg.edu./library/services/forms/rpc_request.dot and specify what times work best for you. By sharing your topic ahead of time, the librarian can tailor the research session specifically for you and your assignment. We do ask that you give the librarians at least 48 hours advance notice to prepare for a Research Appointment, so we can give you the best possible service.

Librarians can also be contacted by phone (717-337-6600), text (717-473-4532), email (ask@gettysburg.edu) or via chat on the Musselman Library home page.

Good luck with your research!
