Men’s Golf at Gate City Invitational
- Gettysburg placed 14th out of 18 teams at the end of day 2 for the Gate City Invitational. They opened with a round of 304 on Monday, 294 that afternoon, and a 299 on Tuesday. Daniel Casanta finished tied for 27th to lead the Bullets, registering a score of 221 over the three rounds.
Wednesday, Sept. 16
Women’s soccer versus Elizabethtown
- Gettysburg (2-2-1) gives Elizabethtown (2-1-1) their first loss of the season, 2-0. The Bullets started their home opener with a goal by Karissa Hufnagel in the 18th minute and finished with a goal from Caroline Neal assisted by Brooke Morrison in the 88th.
Men’s soccer versus Lebanon Valley
- The Bullets (4-2) lost to Lebanon Valley (3-1-1), 2-1 at Gettysburg’s home opener.
Friday, Sept. 18
Men’s Track and Field at Mainline Invitational
- Gettysburg placed sixth, third among Division III squads, at Haverford’s Mainline Invitational, a race previewing the 2026 Centennial Conference championship, finishing with 173 points. Maddon McNicholas led the Bullets, taking 39th in 20:49.5.
Women’s Track and Field at Mainline Invitational
- Gettysburg previewed the 2026 Centennial Conference championship course, finishing ninth at the Haverford Mainline Invitational. In a field of six Division I and six conference teams, the Bullets scored 268 points, good for third among Division III squads. Elyse Tancini led Gettysburg, placing 48th in 19:31.7.
Volleyball at Franciscan
- Gettysburg (7-2) dropped the first set to Franciscan (5-4), edged the second, then pulled away in the third and fourth to open the Messiah Invitational with a 3-1 win. Halle Feth led the Bullets with 22 assists and 12 digs, while Clare Farrell paced the attack with 12 kills, hitting .265.
Saturday, Sept. 19
Women’s Golf at George Phinney Classic
- The Bullets placed 11th of 12 teams (356) on day one of two of the George Phinney Classic.
Men’s Tennis at Goucher Invitational
- First day at the Goucher Invitational.
Women’s Soccer at Haverford
- Gettysburg (2-2-2) carried the edge in play during the second half at Haverford (3-1-2), but neither side could find the net in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams. Anna Kavountzis made four saves in goal for the Bullets.
Field Hockey at Mary Washington
- Gettysburg (4-1) had the last word in a back-and-forth second half, downing No. 21 Mary Washington (4-1), 2-1. Syd Yaw scored her second game-winning goal of the year for the Bullets.
Football versus Western Connecticut State
- Gettysburg (2-1) leaned on three long touchdown passes to beat Western Connecticut (1-2) 34-28, heading into the bye week and conference play with a win. Danny Bonato scored his first career multi-touchdown game, hitting on a 26-yard pass play and a one-yard run. Sean Clark completed 22 of 33 passes for a career-high 354 yards and three touchdowns. Gabriel Diaz hauled in six catches for 118 yards, and Justin Bardo anchored the defense with 12 tackles, 1.5 for loss.
Men’s Soccer at Haverford
- Haverford (6-0-1) scored twice in the first half to beat Gettysburg (4-3-1), 3-1 in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams. Dylan Vengoechea scored for the Bullets late in the first half.
Volleyball versus Carnegie Mellon (Messiah Invitational)
- Gettysburg (8-3) pushed Carnegie Mellon (10-1) to a fifth set but couldn’t close it out, dropping the decider 15-13. Clare Farrell posted 16 kills and 3 blocks for the Bullets.
Volleyball at Messiah (Messiah Invitational)
- Gettysburg (9-3) bounced back to defeat Messiah (7-4) 3-1 on the final day of the Messiah Invitational. Clare Farrell added 18 kills for the Bullets.
