Gavin Foster & IT – WiFi
- Tech committee: working on Ideation, Feedback, and Accountability – Senate select committee created to work on innovation
- Registering for wifi: On campus, not everyone was registered last year, so this year launched a new project to register for Wi-Fi; it now takes about 90 seconds to sign up for wifi at Gettysburg.
- Mapping wifi: Ensures that the wifi covers “blind spots” where wifi was not covering things adequately and providing wifi across campus. Still a work in progress, they are trying to eliminate one blind spot at a time.
- Listening Sessions: gathering students’ opinions and experiences, planning to attend first-year RA floor meetings, gather student data, turn it over to IT, present data to Senate committee to reach a plan

○ Lack of coverage in bathrooms & stairwells due to extensive circumstances in both; no coverage estimated in those soon.
○ Coverage in Shmucker Hall/Sunderman Conservatory, Q-House, Paxton Hall & motels: wifi struggles to go through those concrete walls

- Pie a Pi (Sigma Chi, Lambda Chi Alpha, Alpha Delta Pi, and Alpha Omicron Pi) on Wednesday on Stine Lake, raising money for SCAAP
- Anti Racist Collective will be hosting a fundraiser for various human rights causes, baking various goodies in CUB
- Amnesty International Meeting this Thursday, 5-6 in Glatfelter 001
- October 7th, GSRC is hosting Coming Out Day in CUB ballroom; there will be a drag performance, art, and various resources for students and anyone interested.
- Alpha Tau Omega and Chi Omega philanthropy event: Cornhole Tournament ($15 to charity to enter a team) and Bacon, Egg & Cheese sandwiches, Sunday, October 4th, 11 AM- 2 PM

- Glatfelter Hall women’s restrooms: Facilities is assessing the stalls and determining why hooks are not currently installed and whether they can be added.
- Conservatory furniture: Sunderman Conservatory manages the furniture in this space
- Quarry Pond pavilion – hornet/wasp nest: Grounds removed a wasp nest in this area on August 18 (WO #125435). Since there is a report of another nest, I am submitting a new work order for Grounds to check the area again.

- North Washington Street entrance is only a do not enter during their operating hours; Constitution entrance should never be blocked, and I am reaching out to them to ensure whoever closes Gettysburg Railway does not block the Constitution entrance.
