Frigon also noted how the College is nationally ranked for the over $100 million it typically grants in aid.

Student Concerns
President Woods reported that the Servo dishwasher has been repaired, so the silverware should now be clean.
New concerns included that large sections of Servo are roped off on weekends, declining food quality at Servo and the poor condition of the surface of the running track.
Budget Requests
The Latin American Student Association requested $4,700 for an event to celebrate Hispanic culture. The Budget Management Committee recommended $2,700 instead (5.1% of the budget). This revised amount was approved in full.
SANGAM requested $1,505 which was approved in full.
“What’s It Called” requested $575, which was also approved in full.
New Business
The Senate voted on the Franklin Moore Award, which is given to a senior who “during their undergraduate years, has shown the highest degree of good citizenship, and by character, industry, enterprise, initiative, and activities, has contributed the most toward campus morale and the prestige of the College.” The results of the vote will be announced at the Spring Honors Day ceremony later this semester.
A motion was passed to recommend placing a plaque on the new stair masters, accrediting them to the Student Senate, as they previously voted to fund them.
Two issues were remanded to the Rules and Administration Committee. These were the constitutional hole with budget requests and the removal of the Inclusion Officer position.
Senators also discussed restructuring the affinity groups before deciding to table the issue and adjourn.
