Pradhan Named 2025 Student Commencement Speaker

Ratul Pradhan ’25 has been chosen as the class of 2025 student commencement speaker. The decision was announced by class of 2025 vice president Aztlani Maguffee, who wrote that Pradhan “has demonstrated exceptional leadership and academic excellence.”

Pradhan is an international student from Kathmandu, Nepal and Darjeeling, India. He is a double major studying computer science and business management and analytics, which is an individualized major. He is also minoring in data science and music. 

Pradhan is one of the founders of Listeners & Performers, a music and art club, and he works as assistant residential life coordinator for Residential Education, in which he oversees the College House program. Additionally, he served as alumni secretary for his fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha, worked for the Office of Student Activities and Greek Life as part of their tech team, worked as an immersion project leader for the Center for Public Service, and was a Washington Summer Fellow with the Eisenhower Institute.

Alongside Pradhan, Carol Daly Cantele ’83 will speak at graduation as the commencement speaker. The class of 2025 commencement is scheduled for Saturday, May 17.

Vincent DiFonzo ’25 was Editor-in-Chief for the 2024-2025 year. Vince is an IGS international affairs and history major with a political science minor. He served as Content Manager in Spring 2023 and as Opinions Editor and Lead Copy Editor for the Fall 2023 semester, before studying abroad in Berlin in Spring 2024. On-campus, he was the house leader for Public Policy House, an editor for the Gettysburg Social Science Review, a participant in Eisenhower Institute programs and Managing Editor of the Eisenhower Institute's Ike’s Anvil. Outside the Gettysburgian, Vince enjoys discovering new music, geography and traveling.
