GLC to Host Gettysburg College Leadership Panel Tomorrow

The Garthwait Leadership Center will host the annual Gettysburg College Leadership Showcase tomorrow, Wednesday April 23. The all-day event will include a morning kick-off event, outdoor activities, panels featuring students, staff and faculty, and an evening gala. 

“The Leadership Showcase provides an opportunity for campus and community members to witness firsthand what leaders at Gettysburg have learned and accomplished throughout the year. The event honors those who have been instrumental in implementing leadership development programming, highlighting the college’s dedication to fostering leadership within the liberal arts tradition,” according to a press release from the GLC. 

The day’s full schedule is below: 

  • 9 – 10 a.m., Kickoff Event, CUB Junction
  • 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Ziggy Donuts & Experiential Activity, Stine Lake
  • 11 – 11:30 a.m., Staff Local Heroes Panel, CUB 208
  • 11:30 a.m. – Noon, GLC Co-Curricular Experiences Panel, CUB 260
  • Noon – 12:30 p.m., Meaning Out of Many Experiences Panel, CUB 208
  • 12:30 – 1 p.m., Student Leadership for Public Purpose Panel, CUB 260
  • 1 – 1:30 p.m., Impact of Pre-Orientation Experiences Panel, CUB 208
  • 1:30 – 2 p.m., Emerging Leaders Panel, CUB 260
  • 2 – 2:30 p.m., Anchors in the Community Panel, CUB 260
  • 4 – 5 p.m., Faculty Leadership for Public Purpose Panel, CUB 260
  • 5 – 6 p.m., Mocktails and Leadership Certificate Posters Session, CUB Lobby
  • 6 – 8 p.m., Evening Gala, CUB Ballroom

The Leadership Showcase is open to the public. Attendees will “have the chance to celebrate excellence in leadership and engage with those who are shaping the future through innovative and ethical leadership practices,” according to the press release.
