I believe it is possible to preserve anonymity while addressing a community safety matter of concern. When publishing a weekly crime log that includes an individual was raped and strangled you really should report if a suspect was identified and/or arrested.

I cannot believe —a young lady was forcefully violated this way. Strangled. And it’s grouped in with people spray painting stuff on the wall.
Funny, if someone says “i don’t like dudes in dresses” – resign! get out! shun! But here, we need to be demure.
Honestly, a family *must* deal with the problem if the school doesn’t, that is the only way.
Disclosure: Not a Getty family but DD will eventually enter college and yes, be it Harvard or Community College, crime happens. I know that. But lack of brutal focus by a college to me — well—–let’s just say that now, part of my finance checklist before college will include reviewing my life insurance policy, and seeing if my family is covered if i had to ‘deal’ with a situationl.
Because i would – and honestly i usually literally don’t want to kill a bug.
