Staff Report
Vince DiFonzo ’25 will serve as editor-in-chief for The Gettysburgian in the 2024-2025 academic year for its 127th volume. Ella Prieto ’26 will act as managing editor in the fall, and Katie Lauriello ’25 will take over that position in the spring. The three of them, as well as the rest of the incoming editorial board, were elected unanimously by The Gettysburgian’s staff.

He spent the Spring 2023 semester studying in Berlin, Germany, and this summer, he is interning at the newspaper Stars & Stripes in Washington D.C.
“I am thrilled to see Vince take on the role of editor-in-chief,” Franchetti said. “His prior experience on the editorial board will ensure that The Gettysburgian continues to engage with the campus community and pursue important stories. I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for the publication!”

“I am so excited to continue in my role as Managing Editor,” Prieto said. “My time at The Gettysburgian has been nothing short of exceptional, and I am thrilled to stay on the editorial board with a new group of people, including Vince as the new Editor-in-Chief. A huge thank you is owed to our leaving Editor-in-Chief Laken, who was an amazing leader and someone I will always look up to and strive to model.”
