This morning, dining services announced in an Instagram story that The Dive will be closed until further notice.

Per the announcement, temporary closing is due to a staffing shortage, a problem being faced across campus. Sections of the Bullet Hole are also often closed like the pasta and salad bar lines with signs noting that the lines are “closed due to staffing shortages”. The Dive sold smoothies, sandwiches, and snacks, and is located in the Jaeger Center.

On Sept 21, dining services held a job fair to try and encourage students to apply to work in Servo, the Bullet Hole, The Dive, and Commons. Not many turned out.
