Today, Dean Anne Ehrlich announced the new Executive Director of Public Safety, Alex Wiltz, who will start on Nov. 29. Until then, Associate Director Matt Rose will continue to hold the interim leadership role.

“I am confident that Alex’s deep experience with college campus safety positions him well to continue to move our program forward toward inclusive practices that align with our institution’s value of care and concern for one another,” Ehrlich said in an email to the campus community.

Hailing from Greenfield Community College in Massachusetts, Wiltz also worked for the public service and police force at Ursinus College and Kansas State University, respectively. He holds a doctorate in higher education administration from New England College.

The Dean of Students also thanked the search committee of College administration, faculty, staff, and students for their work in hiring Wiltz.
