The semester is moving along quickly and the Campus Activities Board has been very busy planning events for the student body!

In case you missed it, last week, CAB had one of their new “Junction Middays” in which they served apples with a caramel dipping sauce to students who stopped by—you guessed it—the Junction. The movie night that weekend was Trainwreck starring Amy Schumer and it was followed up by an also new “Mini Mad” where free pizza was served from various spots around Gettysburg, with very few leftovers!

This week, you can look forward to a movie night on Friday at 9pm in the Junction. The movie is called Dope and the showing is cosponsored by the Black Student Union (BSU). There will be snacks available courtesy of the BSU, so be sure to attend for a great movie!

Another exciting event is the Fall Concert, which will be this Saturday in the Attic with doors opening at 9:30pm.The artist is a band called Cover Drive, which was described by Jeff White, CAB Concerts Co-chair, as “A type of band we’ve never had before with a new and revolutionary style of reggae, R&B, and hip hop.” Following the band, we will have DJ Karan performing. And if all of that is not enough, there will be some awesome snacks including mac and cheese bites, pizza bites, and funnel cakes—and the event is Host Provider.

So, if you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, come to a CAB event!
