I decided to start the a Quizbowl Club on campus because in high school, Quizbowl was my favorite extracurricular activity. I’ve always loved learning, including all sorts of random stuff, and being able to apply it to something is really cool. The type of competitions we’ll primarily be playing, pyramidal quizbowl, is something I just really started playing during senior year of high school. I managed to study hard and improve pretty quickly, and our team won two tournaments and went to a national competition in Chicago. In founding this club, I hope to provide fellow knowledge-lovers with an opportunity to express themselves and to have fun learning, practicing together, and competing against other schools.
