We all used to love waking up at 7 a.m.

There is pretty much only one thing on this planet besides some really good food that would prompt me to willingly wake myself up at 7 a.m. on a Saturday. It was not just because I was eight years old and had way too much energy back then, but I was waking up for something that was totally worth it: Saturday morning cartoons. Whether it was Pokémon, Kim Possible, Proud Family, Rocket Power or the plentiful amount of other shows, these throwback shows were the perfect start to a great day.

Nobody can resist a little trip back to a time when we did not have any worries. If you had five dollars, you were the richest child on the planet. Now you have to decide if that bag of chips is really worth it or not. So when the stress is just too much, what shows do you watch? There are so many choices! Since Gettysburgians are the best people on the planet, I surveyed as many of them as I could in two days. Here are the preferred throwback shows of the Bullets in this order:

  1. Spongebob
  2. Drake and Josh
  3. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody
  4. Scooby Doo
  5. Fairly Odd Parents
  6. That’s So Raven
  7. Danny Phantom

Thank you Disney, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network for entertaining and comforting our young minds while teaching us valuable lessons. If anyone knows where I can watch What’s New Scooby Doo, besides on Youtube with terrible sound quality, please let me know ASAP. Gotta blast!

Thank you to everyone who gave their opinions.
