Students who are currently on campus have 17 hours to leave or receive approval to remain, and, from then on, students will be required to show extenuating circumstances, complete a health screening, and receive approval to live on campus through the remainder of spring break, which now lasts until Sunday, March 22.

Beginning at noon on Thursday, any student who needs to access campus will be required to fill out forms located in CNAV, an email sent Wednesday evening said.

Students who are not currently on campus and need to return to collect personal belongings will be required to notify the college in advance and complete a health form that includes information about travel history.

Student athletes will receive information from their respective coaches.

The college has also decided to encourage the cancellation of events of more than 25 people that are “not related to core academic activities.” The Jaeger Center is closing immediately, and the library will now be restricted to card access only. Limited on-campus dining services remain available.

“While we are all still seeking to fully understand the magnitude and complexity of this unique situation in our world and in the College’s history,” the email said, “we are confident–with the help of our dedicated faculty and staff–that we will be able to provide a rich academic experience for our students in the months ahead.”
