The Cross-Disciplinary Science Institute at Gettysburg College (X-SIG) held its 7th annual poster presentation on Friday, November 1st from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Science Center lobby. The students presented posters on their findings from the research that they conducted over the summer, whether it was on campus or off campus research.

Students, parents, faculty, and more stopped by the lobby to look at the posters and talk to students about their projects. Both the main floor and the second floor of the Science Center lobby were filled with posters and students who were explaining their research and findings to those walking around, and one of the observers was President Bob Iuliano.

There were 73 student participants and 27 faculty members who mentored their research through the X-SIG program. The fields of research included biology, chemistry, environmental studies, health sciences, mathematics, physics, and psychology.

The lobby was filled with chatter and enthusiasm as students, faculty, friends, and family walked from poster to poster.
