Student Senate Bullet Points: January 30, 2017

The meeting took place on Monday, January 30. Here are the important points:

• Student Senate discussed writing official opinions on matters involving student life and decided that it will create an Ad-Hoc committee to write these opinions based on the opinions of the members of Student Senate
• There are vacancies for the following roles: Class of 2017 Senator, Class of 2020 Senator, College Life Advisory Committee Co-Chair and Public Relations Co-Chair. Interested students can submit a resume and cover letter to Taylor Beck (beckta01@gettysburg.edu) by Thursday at 12:00pm.
• Students may openly share any concerns related to student life during the Student Concerns portion of the meeting. This section was recently added to the agenda.
