Musselman Library Textbook Survey

By Musselman Library

It is no secret that the cost of textbooks can greatly impact your wallet. Textbook prices have continued to increase over the years, and students have different strategies for handling the strain on their budgets.

Musselman Library wants to learn about Gettysburg College students’ behavior regarding purchasing course materials, including: how much students spend on textbooks and required course materials, strategies students use to reduce textbook costs, textbook formats preferred by students, and how students are affected by textbook costs. Our goal is to better understand how textbook costs impact the success of our students. Please consider participating in the textbook survey: bit.ly/gburgbooks

The information collected will help provide local context and inform our efforts to reduce the cost of high quality course materials for students.

The survey will be open from Monday, August 26 to Monday, September 16 at 11:59PM. Everyone who participates will have the option to enter into a drawing to win a $25 dining gift card. Questions? Contact Sarah Appedu at sappedu@gettysburg.edu.
