The Gettysburg’s men’s golf team has been on a roll this season, setting the program record with eight tournaments won this season, having won the Gettysburg Invitational at the Hanover Country Club this Tuesday.

Leading the way for the Bullets was senior Danny Harcourt ’19. Harcourt shot a 71, even par for the course, and won by three strokes over teammate Tristan Hochman ’22. Harcourt birdied 5 times on the day including the last 3 holes.

The victory was Harcourt’s 12th of his career. With the victory, he also earned the Centennial Conference Player of the Week. It was his second win of the year at home as he also won the Invitational last fall.

Low scores have been a trend for the senior throughout his career, as he led the team in scoring average as a sophomore before setting the single season scoring record as a junior. This year he has been continuing that dominance as he is currently on pace to break his own single season scoring record again, averaging only 72.4 strokes this season, almost 2 strokes better than his program record of 74.2.

As the Bullets continue into the postseason, they will look to Harcourt to lead them at the Centennial Conference Championships from April 26th-28th.
