Serving up smiles

I love going to Servo every day because I am greeted by the friendly members of  Dining Services.  The members of Dining Services are great.  They always have a smile on their face, and they always come to work with enthusiasm.  They have so many responsibilities yet they tackle the challenge every day, providing delicious food in great quantities. The burgers and pizza they serve in the grill every day are delicious.

My favorite dish from the traditional line is either the Philly cheesesteak or the chicken parmigiana they serve.  At the sauté station, the lobster ravioli, seafood chowder, and reuben sandwiches are decadent too.  The noodle and nacho bars that they offer from time to time are awesome too. The atmosphere in Servo is also very enticing.  It’s always very lively, full of students from different graduating classes, providing the perfect opportunity to meet new people.  The fact that they are open about once a month from 11-1 for Midnight Madness is amazing too.  Who doesn’t like hot dogs and chicken tenders at midnight?

On the other hand, there are some drawbacks to Servo.  There is never enough seating within the facility, and the wait for swiping your card to gain entry is tedious. These are both minor grievances, though, and the former will soon be remedied as soon as that long-awaited addition is put in to expand the dining hall. And, as for the card-swiping complaint, that is easily overlooked generally because of the friendliness of the employees who scan the student IDs.

As with anything else, Servo has its highs and lows, and its perks and spikes, its roses and thorns, its peaks and valleys. But the delectable food items and capable staff make it an altogether rewarding dining experience. So eat up, and enjoy!
