America will make an important decision in November, one that is critical not only to the future of the United States but to that of the entire world. Voters must decide which candidate is best equipped to handle a turbulent world and a polarized America. There are two paths forward: one of isolationism and fear-mongering, the other of strength, intelligence and leadership. Hillary Clinton has spent a lifetime working for the American people. She has fought for rights of women, civil rights and the idea that everyone deserves a chance to live the American dream.

Before her role as First Lady, Hillary went to work for the Children’s Defense Fund. She defended the rights of disabled children and was an advocate for teenagers incarcerated in adult prisons. In the White House, she sought to ensure that every individual could obtain healthcare, regardless of their financial situations. She also contributed to implement CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program), which still provides healthcare to over eight million children. As a senator, she continued to fight for women, children and the poor. After 9/11 she worked hard to pass legislation that helped first responders get the medical care they needed. As Secretary of State, Hillary negotiated the longest ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in the last decade. She also appointed the first Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues at the State Department; oversaw the creation of the National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security; and introduced the Global Health Initiative (GHI), investing billions to help partner countries provide maternal and infant health services.

Hillary Clinton has worked tirelessly to elevate the rights of women as a vital key toward economic prosperity and global stability. Through all of her accomplishments protecting the rights of people both internationally and domestically, Hillary Clinton is the most qualified candidate for the presidency of the United States. With decades of experience under her belt as a voice for the underprivileged, a representative of the people and a guardian of American citizens, Hillary holds the strongest record in championing the rights of women economically, socially and politically, with a solid understanding of what the country needs as a whole. No other candidate has comparable experience, and no other candidate knows the ins and outs of foreign policy, the military and how to help people in need. What Hillary Clinton understands best is that what Donald Trump preaches goes against everything for which America stands. Hillary Clinton realizes that it’s wrong to turn against each other; she is constantly promoting how we are stronger when we stand together as one nation, one people.

Hillary Clinton, unlike other candidates, has spent her entire political career defending those unheard and is the only candidate running for president who will fight through every obstacle with dignity, strength and a presidential attitude. She is the candidate to defeat Donald Trump.

“You want me to tell you what my husband thinks? My husband is not Secretary of State; I am. If you want my opinion, I’ll tell you my opinion. I am not going to be channeling my husband.” It’s time to put a woman in the oval office!
