Help with Mid-Semester Madness

Research Help
It’s the time of the semester when everything seems to be due…including the research project you’ve ignored for the past few weeks.
If you have any research or citation questions, you can always visit the Research Help Desk for immediate assistance from a librarian or a Peer Research Mentor. The Research Help Desk hours are:
Monday – Thursday: 9:00am–5:00pm and 6:00pm–10:00pm
Friday: 9:00am–3:00pm
Sunday: 6:00pm–10:00pm
For more personalized research help, set up a one-on-one Research Appointment with a librarian. Fill out the online request form at http://www.gettysburg.edu./library/services/forms/rpc_request.dot and specify what times work best for you. By sharing your topic ahead of time, the librarian can tailor the research session specifically for you and your assignment. We do ask that you give the librarians at least 48 hours advance notice to prepare for a Research Appointment, so we can give you the best possible service.
Librarians can also be contacted by phone (717-337-6600), text (717-473-4532), email (ask@gettysburg.edu) or via chat at the Musselman Library home page.
Reading Days Hours
If you’re staying on campus for Reading Days, library hours will be:
Friday, October 9—close at 5pm
Saturday, October 10—noon—6pm
Sunday, October 11—noon—6pm

Tuesday, October 13—8am—Resume 24-hour access
The Research Help Desk will be closed during Reading Days, but if you need research help on Monday or Tuesday, just ask to speak with a librarian or email ask@gettysburg.edu.
Many library resources are available 24/7 online from anywhere – just visit the library website and have immediate access to hundreds of databases, thousands of full text articles, and ebooks.
Good luck with your research!
