One of Campus Ac- tivities Board’s favorite traditions is on its way this weekend: Springfest! The entire Gettysburg College community will come to- gether to celebrate the end of another academic year with a weekend filled with good food, movies, games, and fun while highlighting the involvement of various groups on campus.

Perhaps one of the most exciting events of the weekend is the Saturday afternoon concert held on Stine Lake. This year’s con- cert will feature DJ Beauty and the Beatz at 12 p.m. and

Sage the Gemini at 3 p.m. Maybe you have heard from whispers around campus about the world’s youngest female DJ visiting campus to put on a show this weekend. That’s right! This 12-year-old superstar is sure to be a hit with her talent and ability to cut, scratch, and mix. Since she was eight years old, she has DJed for retailers, clubs and events including National Harbor, DC Fashion Night Out, the 54th Grammy DC Telecast party, and several private events. She has even been featured in music videos and has been seen on several magazine covers.

Next up to take the stage will be Sage the Gemini, a 21-year-old rapper coming all the way from California. You may know him from his hit single “Gas Pedal” which peaked at number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number four on the Hot Rap Songs charts in 2013. In January 2014, the Recording Industry Association of America certified his single “Red Nose” as gold and “Gas Pedal” as platinum.

Be sure to head out to Stine Lake on Saturday, April 26th to witness the youngest female DJ tear up the turntables and listen to Sage’s popular rapping style as we begin to wrap up another great year spent at Gettysburg College.
