Central Penn. winery hosts local jazz trio

Reid’s Orchard and Winery, located in Orrtanna, Pennsylvania, will host the Jay Vonada Jazz Trio as part of the “Music in the Valley” concert series.

As part of the free “Music in the Valley!” series, Reid’s Orchard and Winery is hosting the Jay Vonada Jazz Trio at our Home Winery location on Sunday, Sept. 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Jay Vonada is a native of Central Pennsylvania and has been playing the trombone for more than 20 years. His concerts include many traditional jazz cover songs as well as original compositions and arrangements. Read more about Jay at jayvonada.net.

Reid’s Orchard and Winery’s Home Winery is located at 2135 Buchanan Valley Road (Route 234) in Orrtanna, PA.

Guests are welcome to bring their own food or picnic basket. Wine by the glass or bottle, fresh fruit sangrias by the glass or carafe, wine granitas (wine ice) and non-alcoholic icees, soft drinks, chips, snacks and water are available for sale.

Students under the age of 21 are welcome to attend the concert. Students 21 and over with a current college ID and a state-approved ID will receive a free tasting of two of our wines.
